Art Print Size Guide — What Size Do I Need?
What size art print do I need?
Choosing the right size makes all the difference between a print that looks perfectly at home and one that gets lost on the wall. All our prints come in five sizes — here's what each one works best for.
Which size for which room?
How to measure your wall
A print should cover roughly two-thirds of the wall width it's hanging on. For a 90 cm wide wall, aim for a print (with frame) around 55–60 cm wide.
Above a sofa or bed, keep the bottom of the print 15–20 cm above the furniture. Don't hang art too high — eye level is around 145–150 cm from the floor.
For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to find an arrangement you love before making any holes. Keep gaps between frames consistent at around 5–8 cm.
Don't forget framing
Our prints arrive unframed, rolled in a protective tube, ready to frame. Standard A-size frames are widely available from IKEA, Dunelm, Marks & Spencer and most UK homeware shops — no custom sizing needed. A simple black or natural wood frame works with almost every print in our collection.
Not sure which size to order? Our most popular choice is A3 — it's large enough to make an impact but affordable enough to mix with other sizes on a gallery wall.
