Hilma af Klint Yellow Abstract Art Print | The Ten Largest No. 3 Youth

The Ten Largest, No. 3, Youth is the brightest painting in Hilma af Klint's 1907 series — ten enormous canvases tracing a human life from childhood to old age. Youth is where the colour arrives: two vast yellow forms meeting at a single point, ringed with green, scarlet and orange, all floating on a soft lilac ground.

The Roman numerals and looping script are hers. She believed she was recording something rather than composing it, and used a private symbolic language throughout the series. What reads as joyful decoration was, to her, closer to a diagram.

As a print it brings real warmth to a room without tipping into noise — the lilac background keeps all that yellow soft. It works beautifully in a bedroom, a child's room or a bright hallway, and pairs naturally with pale wood, cane and off-white walls.

Printed on 250gsm museum-quality matte paper, available A5 through to A1. Sent unframed in fully plastic-free, recyclable packaging.
