Home Sweet Home Folk Art Print | Cottage, Doves & Wildflower Wall Art | New Home Gift Giclée Fine Art
A little white cottage with a periwinkle scalloped roof, a red brick chimney and a dusty blue arched door sits snugly between two tall cypress trees. Above it, two pale blue doves meet beak to beak over a tiny red heart, and a golden star shines at the top of the page.
All around, a folk garden blooms in perfect symmetry: blush pink daisies, coral tulips speckled with seeds, periwinkle flowers and sage green leaves, edged by tall stems of soft blue leaves and scattered terracotta dots. Beneath the cottage, written in a gentle hand, three of the warmest words there are: Home Sweet Home.
It is a print for the heart of the house. Hang it in a hallway to greet everyone who comes through the door, or in a living room, kitchen or nursery. A treasured gift for a housewarming, a first home, newlyweds or a new baby.
Painted in a chalky, hand-drawn style, its blush, sage, periwinkle and terracotta palette sits beautifully with natural wood, linen, rattan and warm neutrals.
