Sleeping Tabby Cat Art Print | Pink Lily & Swan Vase Still Life | Cat on Books Wall Art
Le Chat Endormi · 眠り猫 (Nemuri Neko)
A tabby cat has fallen fast asleep on a stack of well-loved books, chin resting on the top cover and paws tucked close, whiskers soft and eyes closed in perfect contentment. In front of him, a pale grey vase painted with two white swans, their necks meeting in a heart and circled by golden stars, holds a spray of pink lilies on long, dark green leaves.
Painted in loose, chalky brushstrokes on a dusky rose ground, with olive, blush and cream pages beneath, it feels like a slow Sunday afternoon: the house quiet, the book abandoned, the cat winning.
It is a print for cosy corners. Hang it in a living room, bedroom, reading nook or study, where its rose, olive and sage tones bring warmth and calm. A lovely gift for cat lovers, book lovers, a birthday or a new home.
The muted, earthy palette sits beautifully with natural wood, linen, velvet and soft pinks.
