The Stardust Garden · Hoshikuzu no Niwa 星屑の庭

In Japanese, hoshikuzu means stardust, literally "crumbs of stars". This print is a garden made of it: thousands of tiny glowing dots scattered across a deep midnight ground, gathering into flowers, seed heads, ferns and coral-like branches.

Lemon and sage pods float on fine stems, violet fronds unfurl in the corner, and soft pink asters cluster beside speckled coral blooms. Red and tangerine discs drift above it all like lanterns or setting moons. The longer you look, the more you find, as if the garden is slowly lighting up in the dark.

It is a print for evening rooms and cosy corners: a living room, bedroom or hallway that welcomes depth, colour and a little magic. The dark background makes every colour glow, and it pairs beautifully with velvet, warm woods, brass and moody painted walls. A memorable gift for gardeners, stargazers and lovers of Japanese-inspired design.

A landscape-format print that sits perfectly alongside our Secret of the Forest and Mizutama no Mori prints.
