Japanese Wildflower Mountain Landscape Print | Pine Tree Meadow Wall Art | Giclée Fine Art
Tōyama no Hana 遠山の花
Far away, blue and peach mountains fade into a sky of warm, honeyed gold. A single pine stands on the hillside, its layered branches reaching out like open hands. And all around it, the land breaks into bloom: rolling banks of coral, plum and saffron, tall violet flowers swaying on slender stems, and cream and crimson blossoms tumbling towards your feet.
Tōyama, "distant mountains", is one of the oldest subjects in Japanese painting, a reminder of the quiet that waits beyond the busy foreground of life. Here, that stillness sits behind a riot of colour, so the eye can wander through the flowers and then rest on the far hills.
It is a print for living rooms, bedrooms and studies that need a breath of space and a burst of colour. Its jewel-toned palette of violet, coral, teal and gold brings warmth to a neutral wall, and makes a beautiful gift for garden lovers, walkers and anyone drawn to Japanese art.
A landscape-format print that sits beautifully with warm woods, linen, rattan and soft neutrals.
